Issue Summary:

  • Users are unable to log in to SkyConnect from a specific network.
  • Email send/receive functionality is also disrupted on the same network.

Root Cause:

  1. IP Throttling on SkyConnect Server:
     The public IP address of the affected network has likely exceeded the allowed threshold for outgoing emails. When this limit is breached, the server temporarily throttles the IP to prevent potential abuse.
  2. IP Blacklisting on SkyConnect Server:
     The IP address may also have been blacklisted due to multiple failed login attempts within a short period, with no successful authentications observed. This is a security measure to protect against unauthorized access.

Recommended Action:

Please raise a support ticket with the Mithi Helpdesk and include the affected network’s public IP address. The Mithi team will assist in reviewing and, if appropriate, removing the IP address from the throttled or blacklisted list.
