Mithi's cloud platform is secured along multiple layers based on the shared security model of the AWS Cloud. AWS provides us the security OF the cloud while we provide the security IN the cloud. A prominent security control that we deploy is a 256 bit AES encryption for data at rest, in transit and in use.

Data encrypted at rest using AES 256 bit encryption to prevent data visibility in the (unlikely) event of unauthorized access or theft. Access to each service and API is over secured, encrypted protocols and all information is encrypted in transit to prevent eavesdropping and data theft during motion.
